Error 18456 while connecting error while trying to connect to SQL Server -


i new databases.. doing small application needs connect sql server database.

  1. my sql server installed on company server
  2. i trying login sql server local system

steps have tried far:

  1. since have admin credentials company server have logged in , included myself (sql server authentication) under security -> logins

so when try connect local computer giving me "login failed user (microsoft sql server error 18456)".

can 1 please me this?

goal: want connect companies server local machine.
